NAME: BLACK BEAT SESSIONS

DETAILS: Black Beat is pleased to present you with a new musical tasting space in the East of the capital: a weekly vinyl session, to be held every Monday, in the Jazz Café San Pedro iconic bar and concert hall. The night, which is named Black Beat Sessions, will open on February 11.

The musical selection will be in charge of Robert Aguilar and Daniel Ortuño, alternated with special guests.

Black Beat Sessions will consist of varied musical programming, based on the sounds of Jazz, Blues and Rythm & Blues that have defined the identity of the Jazz Café and with which it cemented its legacy, but will also seek to delve into its derivations ranging from the Soul, Funk, Disco, up to contemporary genres such as Hip Hop, Neo Soul and Acid Jazz, covering from the 50’s until today.

In the same way, expressions of Latin origin such as Boogaloo, Salsa, Latin Jazz, music from Brazil and the Caribbean, and the sounds of Africa fit within this space.

The night is free, and the bar will offer promotions on drinks and meals.
